French Coffee Al Rehab 2018

One day while browsing, I discovered this fragrance, did a little research here, and then ordered it after a couple of days. When it arrived, it was love at first sniff, not as overwhelming as Delina, but still love. Okay, I realize I should stop measuring everything against her... So back to this treasure here. I smelled and still smell a strong coffee with milk and a chocolate note. The coffee has been sitting for a while but is still somewhat hot. It could also be coffee chocolate or filled pastries with coffee filling and peach jelly, a delicious story indeed. I don't know the original, and to be honest, I'm not really interested in it. The scent progression is very linear, but I've never been bothered by that. I absolutely cannot confirm the poor longevity and sillage from my side. My partner can smell the fragrance when he just enters the living room and I am at the other end of the room, and we are talking about a room size of 21 sqm. However, I did make the mistake of overdoing it with the fragrance. A few hours later, I wondered about the restlessness and shakiness I was feeling. My body actually thought I had drunk several cups of coffee at once and behaved accordingly. It even got to the point where I had to resort to relaxation exercises. I think this fact speaks volumes about whether this perfume is a good coffee scent. At least for me, it does its job more than well, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable, and I no longer feel like I need to keep searching. There are fragrance notes where you want to get to know as many scents as possible, and there are those that interest you, where just one scent would be quite enough. Maybe I'm just the only one who feels this way. Coffee scents have always intrigued me, but I never actively searched for a coffee fragrance, and now French Coffee has found me and makes me very happy. Absolutely great for layering, with NYCCrush by SJP or with Vanilla Banana by CSP, yummy!
