Shockingly realistic

Honestly, this made me realize that, a very realistic coffee fragrance is not for me...

When you first spray this, It really smells like: A Creamy dark coffee, like full on a cup of dark, sweet - and sugary coffee. Or just coffee powder, whatever, it's like, very strong.
It fades into a very soft and spicy vanilla/ cinnamon and the coffee note becomes very light and more in the back.

I still think it was a very cool discovery, because of how realistic it was. Sadly, I'm just not the right person to enjoy it, so, if you think that coffee is the ultimate love note, I 100% recommend this.

I have the rollerball

I have the rollerball Oil version. Its a very realistic coffee, quite strong and almost bitter to begin with but that quickly dries down into something more Latte-like, with hints of vanilla and creamy caramel vibes. Its pretty mellow for most of the wear and I find it fades a bit quicker than Choco musk and Soft but still excellent value considering the extremely cheap price for a 6ml bottle. Smells lush layered with Choco musk too

I let you find me

One day while browsing I discovered this fragrance, did some quick research here and then ordered it a few days later. When it arrived it was love at first sniff, not a resounding one like Delina's, but love nonetheless. Ok, I realize I should stop measuring everything against her... So back to this treasure here. I smelled and tasted a strong coffee with milk and a hint of chocolate. The coffee has been sitting for a while, but is still reasonably hot. It could also be coffee chocolate or filled tartlets with coffee filling and peach jelly, so a delicious story. I don't know the original, and to be honest, I'm not interested in it. The fragrance progression is very linear, but I've never been bothered by that. I absolutely can't confirm the lousy longevity and sillage from my side. My boyfriend smells the fragrance when he walks into the living room and I'm at the other end of the room, and we're talking about a room measuring 21 square meters. However, I did make the mistake of overdoing the fragrance. A few hours later, I'm surprised at the restlessness and shakiness I feel. My body actually thought I had drunk several cups of coffee in one go and behaved accordingly. It even went so far that I had to help myself with relaxation exercises. I think this fact speaks volumes as to whether this perfume is a good coffee scent. For me at least, it does its job more than well, the value for money is unbeatable and I no longer feel the need to keep searching. There are fragrances where you want to get to know as many scents as possible, and there are some that interest you, but where just one scent would be enough. But maybe I'm the only one who feels this way. I've always been interested in coffee fragrances, but I've never really actively searched for a coffee fragrance, and now French Coffee has found me and makes me very happy. Absolutely great for layering, with NYCCrush from SJP or with Vanilla Banana from CSP, Yummy!

Latte from the supermarket vending machine

While searching for a coffee fragrance, I came across French Coffee It took ages until the perfume was available in Germany, but when I got it I was more than hyped.
Unfortunately, I was immediately disappointed.

The opening is alcoholic and synthetic, I knew immediately that this was a fragrance that would smell cheap.
The coffee note is immediately noticeable, it's a kind of latte, pleasantly sweet with a dash of caramel.
As nice as it sounds, the whole thing is quite synthetic.
You can compare the fragrance with another Al Rehab, the "Choco Musk (Eau de Parfum) | Al Rehab".
In terms of quality, both fragrances are identical.
The perfume is very linear, what you perceive in the opening actually remains for the most part.
Although the alcoholic note disappears quite quickly and the perfume becomes a little less synthetic in the DD, anyone expecting a high-quality coffee fragrance here (which I can't imagine given the low price) will be disappointed.
It's just not coffee from a fine cafeteria, but coffee from a coffee machine for 1 euro in the supermarket, that's how I would describe it.

But since the price is quite small, I don't want to be too harsh with my assessment.
It's a nice coffee fragrance where the P/L is definitely right.
That's why I rate it 7/10.
But I would still pay a little more and get the Coffee Addict.
It smells much better and not so synthetic, and it's also much more potent.

And that brings us to the performance.
I find it average in terms of durability.
The projection is also mediocre at best.
Perfect for cuddling with your partner, but you need at least 10 sprays to be noticed.

All in all, I would say that French Coffee is not a must-have if you already have a good coffee scent.
But if you don't have one yet and think to yourself, I don't care that the perfume smells rather inferior in quality, the main thing is that I smell of coffee, I can definitely recommend French Coffee to you.
