Juicy Florals

I got this in the Margot Elena subscription box and at first, just liked it. But it grew on me. It was one of those scents that I would start thinking about in the middle of the day and need to put on

I favor fragrances with fewer notes and appreciate that it is so clearly apple blossom and rose.

It has a juiciness that I don't often find in straight floral fragrances.

Not too strong for me to wear in hot weather.

It layers beautifully, especially with peony scents.

Not sure how to feel

So, I only have a mini bottle of this and unfortunately it doesn't have a sprayer (as well as my other lollia mini). It's kind of hard to apply because of that and in turn it is hard to gauge the scent and how much I like it. It is nice though, I am a huge floral fan. I really wish I had a sprayer so I could apply it differently and get the full scope because I think if I did I would really enjoy wearing this perfume. In the bottle it smells like a floral cocktail which I guess is expected because it's made with perfumers alcohol. It's also the tiniest bit spicy? Usually I wouldn't like an alcohol/spicy smell but I am strangely drawn to it.

Airier than Always in Love

... but it still has that waxy/oil quality of lipstick bases that In Love has, but not as offensive. It opens slightly citrus and the florals are lighter, but I'm thoroughly put off by the waxiness. I think I can maybe layer something on top, perhaps my favorite go-to Rose, but that's rather tedious.

The Little Luxe bottle is quite cute.

Update: Rose does work really well with In Love without completely destroying its identity. Doesn't counter Always in Rose until you absolutely smother it from all existence.
