Foreword:
Amouage has always been a bit of a thorn in my side. I have read a lot and often about Amouage and individual fragrances in the past. However, the prices have so far prevented me from taking a serious look at the brand and its products. Of course, the price is purely subjective and everyone has to decide for themselves whether €355 for 100ml is fair or not.

What cannot be denied, however, apart from the brand's exorbitantly high pricing policy, is the attention to detail in the bottle and packaging design. Each fragrance is a work of art and an absolute eye-catcher if you are keen to "show them off".

The Jubilation XXV is also very attractive. The cap is solid and magnetic and the bottle is heavy and very nice to look at. The whole feel is fun and could be a comic book in combination with the beautiful box - in which the whole thing is packaged - from Disney.

In my perception, the fragrance itself is in no way inferior to the described "all around". A great and balanced opening opens the fragrance with a beautiful blackberry, which, however, sneaks into the background a little too quickly for my liking. The start is supported by the clove, which shows from the beginning in which direction the whole thing is heading. --> Spicy!

The coriander is also very interesting, reminding me of my vacation in Mexico & even though it was a few years ago, this is a neuronal connection in the fragrance that is linked to my memory and brings a grin to my face.

The combination of blackberry & clove - paired with the incense, myrrh and coriander/laurel combination is a fragrance experience that I have never had before and that is currently unparalleled.

With Jubilation 40, the highly concentrated big brother was recently launched on the market, which extends the fragrance even further (the blackberry in particular is much more potent in the first 60 minutes). I got hold of a bottle of this. Ultimately, however, I was unable to detect any major difference in the fragrance's progression beyond this.

Basically, the high oil concentration means that the fragrance stays on the skin for longer, but usually radiates less. In this respect, I don't see the €100 surcharge for the 40% version as necessary. However, as always in life, this is a purely personal/individual decision.

I am very happy and satisfied to have added the Jubilation XXV to my collection and will have a lot of fun with it.
