Yoga on the salty rocks
The only modern Amouage which I adore, probably due to the fact that Karine Vinchon Spehner has been working with the company for a long time and thanks to that succeeded fusing old traditions with the new creative direction (towards winning over the crowds).
Lineage is a meditative yoga scent to me, introspective, introverted while also chic and different. I am confused why it's not more popular than it is, and can't help but wonder if it's only the fact that Guidance came out at the same time. It's a highly resionous mineral perfume evoking salty rocks, fresh mineral breeze and cooling incense smoke. Makes me think about doing yoga on top of the rocks next to the ocean. Since doing just that is out of my reach, I prefer to wear it on hot summer days when I tend to feel anxiety induced by the heat. It calms my nerves and makes me feel like an it-girl, no matter how far away I am from being one.
