Your herbalist friend's favorite candle

Everyone was right - it DOES evoke seaside despite not officially having any aquatic notes. Honestly I love when a perfume pulls that sort of trick, so I'm not mad about it.

Herbal, but not acerbic. Crisp and clear. A soft thread of warmth from the ginger and then the resins.

Like I'm staying with my herbalist friend in her tiny old house near the shore of the Atlantic, and her recently-deep-cleaned kitchen opens onto her garden, and this is how it smells on a bright, clear spring day when the windows and doors are open.

I really love this fragrance, but the downside for me is that I'm struggling to pinpoint when I'd reach for this to actually wear. It's so pretty and laid-back, but it's a bit too medicinal for me to want to wear, even once it gets into the heart notes. I'd burn a candle that smells like this all day, though.
