The image:
This fragrance transports me to an Arabic shisha café with wooden furniture, oriental decoration, and dim lighting.
Here, the moist smoke of the water pipe mingles with the smoke of resins and the scent of fresh, unburned muassel (shisha tobacco), with the double apple muassel clearly dominating.
The scent:
As already mentioned in the image: After the first spray, a strong blend of shisha tobacco emerges, accompanied by smoke and spices. All together, it reminds me of a water pipe with double apple muassel.
The sharp notes of the opening fade over time. In the drydown, a very pleasant, dense mixture of resins, wood, and the balanced sweetness of vanilla unfolds, accompanying me until the end of the fragrance journey.
Performance:
On my skin, the fragrance shows a very strong longevity of 12 hours; the sillage was also pronounced at 2.5 hours.
Conclusion:
Personally, I had a fantastic fragrance journey with Royal Tobacco. The scent is complex, has evoked memories for me, and simply smells good.
This fragrance is definitely not suitable for everyday wear but is only appropriate for special occasions where one wants to emphasize their uniqueness. Due to its complexity, it is not a candidate for a blind buy.
