Anatolia has a deep meaning for me. Because it is the land where I was born, grew up and live. These lands are also very important for all humanity. Anatoline is a Turkish niche perfume house founded by Halil Ozer. In their fragrances, they blend Anatolian roots with modern touches and take you on a fragrance journey inspired by these beautiful lands. I haven't met him yet, but when I look at their fragrances, I can easily say that he must be a true perfume lover!
Today, I have Shaman offered in The Mystic Collection from the house. The journey of fragrances starting with woody notes is supported by very balanced and softly blended balsamic notes. The base is the cleanest, least animalic musk I have ever smelled. Leaving all these notes aside; when I wear this, I feel myself in a relaxing ritual. Clean, mystical, as clean as if I was washed under a secret waterfall hidden in a magical forest. As mystical as the magic spells to protect against evil spirits in ancient times...
