Just wow!
The land of Troy, known today as Canakkale. Around the 12th or 13th century BC. The war was waged by the Achaeans against the city of Troy after Paris of Troy took Helen from her husband Menelaus, king of Sparta. The whole city is deceived and under siege. Lethal flames have spread across the entire city...
For many of us, the part of mythology that fascinates us the most must be these epic stories. The other side is the mystery that we may never know whether it is a myth or a real that actually happened.
A dark, smoky and slightly animalic piece of art. When a city burns at midnight, it is as if you are breathing in the crimson fire that illuminates the night, the smoke, chaos, mayhem, fear into your lungs.
Yeah, that might sound a little scary. You may have heard such fragrances called ‘showstopper’. Troia does it justice.
From the first spray, the smoky air of cannabis dominates the scent and is accompanied by black pepper. Within 15-20 minutes, it's more tamed and the scent of leather begins to show itself. The beginning is quite remarkable.
Cannabis is felt the whole life of the fragrance, this is where the smoky atmosphere comes from. The leather has a slightly animalic texture. Not like a barn, more reminiscent of a luxury leather jacket. I must say I like the perfumer's use of leather. This composition turns into a work of art with the warmth of incense and resins.
@anatoline has done a really good job and is one of the most stunning discoveries of this year for me. Bold, showstopper and powerfull. It can appeal to everyone who is ready to carry such a fragrance. A real niche quality. You will smell quite different from everyone else around you. The fragrance is unisex but to my nose it is slightly masculine leaning. Overall, Troia a fragrance I quite love. It completely dominates the room you enter...
