Fig Fiction & Other Stories 2014 Eau de Toilette

I bought Fig Fiction because I have developed an absolute obsession for fig fragrances. How did that happen? At Ludwig Beck in Munich, I sniffed through the Diptyque fragrances and got stuck on the beautiful Philosykos. Since I could not store at that time unfortunately in this price range I have asked around and got stuck on this alternative.
To take it right away I have now both fragrances. And also just in front of me. The Fig Fiction is definitely a nice fig fragrance that I could wear every day especially if you consider the price. In direct comparison, the Philosykos (EdP) is much more pleasing and better tuned. Both fragrances have green notes that are a bit scratchier and stricter in the Fig Fiction. Also, the shelf life is not as long with Fig Fiction. Which is of course no wonder with the Eau de Toilette.
"Green fig leaves swaying in the warm evening" is written on the bottle and sums it up well for me. For me, it is exceptional but needs improvement. He has my greatest need for fig fragrances however well satisfied. :-)
