Arqa Shay Anfasic Dokhoon

Many thanks to Yannis for the decant of Arqa Shay :-) This is a truly beautiful, gourmand, and oriental scent. I have also been approached about the fragrance a few times. The longevity is strong at around 12 hours, and the sillage is very successful as well.

The top note starts dark, sweet, gourmand, and oriental. Thanks to labdanum, it initially smells honeyed and balsamic without being overwhelming or drifting towards dried plums. Then, a lovely incense aroma with a hint of licorice makes its presence known. The heart note remains sweet with a lot of Bourbon vanilla, resin, and a fine leatheriness. The base offers a pleasant and woody oud note. Additionally, it continues to smell sweet, vanillic, creamy, and balsamic with amber, tonka beans, and a bit of tobacco.

A certain similarity to "Grand Soir | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" cannot be denied here. I really like this wintry oriental fragrance.
