A beautifully crafted oriental fragrance
Many thanks to Yannis for the bottling of Arqa Shay :-) This is a really beautiful, gourmand and oriental fragrance. I have also been asked about the fragrance a few times. The longevity is strong at around 12 hours and the sillage is also very successful so far.
The top note starts dark, sweet, gourmand and oriental. Thanks to labdanum, it initially smells honey-like and balsamic without being overloaded and drifting towards prunes. This is followed by a beautiful incense aroma with a hint of licorice. The heart note remains sweet with lots of bourbon vanilla, resin and a fine leatheriness. The base offers a pleasant and woody oud note. It also continues to smell sweet, vanilla, creamy and balsamic with amber, tonka beans and a hint of tobacco.
A certain similarity to Grand Soir cannot be denied here. I really like this wintry oriental fragrance.
