A fragrance miniature set off on its journey; hopefully it arrives safely and filled, bringing much joy to the recipient, a very nice parfumista.
In the process, I stumbled upon a little bottle that I had forgotten about:
It contains “Aniu,” a delicate veil of Mediterranean scent notes, charmingly composed by Aniu de la Baie.
Last year, I received a six-piece miniature set; this fragrance is included and was easily forgotten.
Woven from a light blend of classic-fresh bergamot, the spicy fig leaf in a play of light and shadow, and the great, all-embracing warmth of fragile orange blossoms.
When this first transparent fragrance curtain is drawn back, we encounter ripe, plump, and sweet raspberries, unmistakable in their summery aroma, lightly spiced with ginger and cinnamon.
These former exotics of the spice world have now become part of our everyday kitchens, where they are used just as skillfully and elegantly as here in the composition of “Aniu.”
Thus, a gossamer fragrance blend is created, akin to fine gauze or organza fabric, spreading its graceful scent veils over the skin and gradually developing into a flattering soapy note: as fine as “born from foam.”
