Poppy Scent
I will quote the advertising statements here (Sorry Yalla) because I really have nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to say about this fragrance:
A seductive potion to awaken forgotten desire.
Flowers - light as whispered words - combined with warm and precious aromas - mystical and powdery. It conjures up ancient rituals dedicated to Venus and love.
Recipe
Nine ounces of buds and poppy, nine pounds of the most precious sandalwood, nine pinches of Bourbon vanilla, nine eighths of the Porgi-Amor song, borrowed from "The Marriage of Figaro," nine thoughts full of love.
Ritual
Spray the fragrance into the air and onto your palms, then transfer it to your earlobes and neck.
Source: ALzD
...and even if I now perform the 5 Tibetans, it won't make it any more substantial!
In my notes, I have
-a somewhat synthetic (!!) poppy note
-then white powdery flowers
-then the softness of sandalwood
-then gone
-BORING
noted. And unfortunately, that's how it is.
Allegedly made from natural ingredients, with a natural message, and then thrown onto the market (available since November 2014) but with just as little olfactory statement as a fragrance from Yves Rocher or L'Occitane.
I still have "Bianco Ninive" and "Giallo di Tebe" as samples, maybe the expectations of Signora Paghera align better with those products.
I am certainly disappointed with this one.
Genre: Natural fragrance, prayed with exciting words to the woman/man
For: Unisex
Sillage and longevity: Weak, close to the skin, and about 3 hours
Alternative: Any good room fragrance in a glass bottle (the ones with the wooden sticks)
Note: No recommendation, can be had but doesn't have to be.
Addendum: I just saw on Anna Paghera's website that room sprays and room fragrances are also sold here, now the circle is complete!
