Crème Caramel
After I have praised this fragrance in the forum with so many accolades, it is now slowly time for me to finally write my promised comment... Fragrance direction: "JOOP! Jump" sends its regards. Sparkling with a bittersweet soul - the fragrance direction whose seductive power switches off my mind and simply lets me melt away gently! The defining (heliotrope) almond and caramel note of the original "Tomo" is refreshed here with mandarin and other citrus fruits; in the heart note, delicate iris stands out.
The main question that occupied me while testing: Should I buy Made in the Far East? Or am I just falling for a cheap knockoff of "JOOP! Jump"? And I realized: "Tomo Fresh" does not contain any completely new fragrance components; everything is familiar. But: In its balance and slenderness, it is still far from our Wolfgang Joop, whom I really would not associate with understatement. No overt freshness for superficial smelling and being smelled, but also no cumbersome base note that absorbs all the depth of the world. Rather, it is a rounded fragrance, so to speak, a fully matured personality. And always beautifully creamy and lovely.
