Tomo is my friend
As a lavender lover, I often sneak around men's fragrances that list lavender as an ingredient. Lavender is a plant I grew up with. The rock garden of my parents made this possible.
The most beautiful lavender scent I have found so far is Gris Clair by Serge Lutens. However, it has a small flaw. No, certainly not the initially quite piercing note or the strong sillage. No, it's just that I am overwhelmed by the lavender. Sprayed on the pillow, on nights that steal your sleep, it is a miracle healer.
I also like to search for scents that are not heavily advertised or are sitting at the bottom of the shelf. And so my path led me to Tomo. He is also my friend, I realized.
He also has lavender as an ingredient, just not as intrusive and prominent. The longevity is decent, around 4-5 hours on the skin. I haven't had the opportunity to test it on clothing yet. Sillage is also average. I give the scent 90%. I wore it myself yesterday and find it very pleasant to wear during cooler summer days, both day and night. No note stands out too strongly to be off-putting. Since I don't have Le Male by JPG in mind, I can't make a comparison.
I would recommend the scent for men from their mid-20s onward, with no upper limit for me.
Overall, a successful fragrance from a brand I was previously unfamiliar with. I love Tomo!!!
PS: Testing on clothing is very positive. Longevity up to 12 hours. The base holds and holds. Even on the skin, it really has long-lasting durability. Sprayed on in the evening, I can still smell the base in the morning! I am truly impressed. Simply perfect.
