back to the glamour
On days when it's already totally "land under" at eight o'clock in the morning and the question arises: "Why did you actually get up?", it's worth resorting to the exit strategy and diving into a "better world" with the help of scent.
This then becomes the rabbit hole in "Alice's Wonder World."

Helping me do that today is the collection of miniature fragrances I've been indulging in for the past few days.
The romantic Fragonard beauties are unsuitable; it must be something with more power, more glamour:
"Back to the 80!" is the right fragrance route.

What was that time: restless, loud, colorful; the wedding of the couturiers and their models in bold gemstone colors!
The world of "Denver Clan" and "Dallas" was moved from the television screen to women's fashion:
shiny fabrics, shoulder pads - preferably XXL - and corresponding club sleeves!
In retrospect, really, only to be viewed with a slight blush; but we liked it and wore it!

The fragrances were just as ostentatious and spacey; every designer wanted to launch at least one under their name.
There was glamour to spray on and we made proper (and even thoughtless) use of it!
"Collateral damage" gasping in our presence, we did not notice.
Ashes on my head!
Most of these creations have since disappeared, yet there is much reunion
Like the "Wild Twenties", the "Glamorous Eighties" will probably never go out of fashion!

Five miniatures of fragrances of this time I have to choose from and by the so temptingly feminine flacon I decided with "Anne Klein"; a perfume from the middle of this era and forwahr
"Reflection of the Time!"

Opening with an aldehyde beacon around fruit and florals, this effects-rich fragrance show
Whereby bergamot and the slightly tart blackcurrant are not a rare prelude; only neroli and hyacinth, accompanied by a resinous galbanum note, astonish in the first moment: what a radiance right at the beginning!
Among a lush selection of summer fruits, the fresh aromatic raspberries lead, followed by the sweet scent of ripe peaches. They meet for a friendly, harmonious chat with the blackcurrants.
A large, well-filled flower basket then gives the impression of pure scented luxury:
The classic white bloomers tuberose, jasmine and lily of the valley show themselves in their full fragrance beauty; they do not want to take a back seat to the noble gardenia.
Thus, from this intensely fragrant competition, rich swirls of fragrance develop from floral beauties in radiant and creamy white, joined by the delicate vanilla scent of orchids and the serene olfactory embrace of ylang-ylang.
A frenzy, a rush arises from this overflowing opulence of fragrance notes, which make themselves comfortable on an equally impressive base.
Because of course, the classic fragrance building blocks may not be missing here: spicy, earthy, resinous and smoky they enclose fruits and flowers, before the sensuality of vanilla and musk spread warming.
Amazing is with me a very fine soap note, which lays over everything and thus somewhat neutralizes the animalic scent of the civet cat, which had to meander quite urgently through the assembled fragrance company.
It ensures that the presence of the feline is noticeable, but not necessarily dominant.
Whereby it must not be forgotten that vanilla and musk may come along gladly a bit dirty.

"Anne Klein" as a perfume is not a fragrance for elementary school, after all!
It is drawn from the full; each fragrance nuance is honed and polished until it shines and the motto: "Less is sometimes more!" one looks here in vain.

This fragrance is luxury! Refined yet elegant; overarching liveliness as a charming companion for several hours!
"Anne Klein" loves to be the center of attention and leaves a still distinct scent trail later.

This fragrance composition pulsating with vitality does not deserve to shine only in the past.
When did this trend originate, "Away from this fruity-floral opulence!"?
As gray mice we vegetated now long enough. Would not now be the time for a little luxury?
I think "Anne Klein" and her fragrance contemporaries of the time would love to make a comeback.
We just have to let it happen!
