Potting Soil Realness
Have you ever repotted a flower plant, then taken a deep breath of your soil covered hands and said, “I want to smell like this”? This is the fragrance for you: a damp, intensely photorealistic potting soil, dark, rich, and loamy.

Well, for the first 15 minutes, anyway.

After that, the flowers you repotted begin to emerge, backed by a light but distinct earthiness. Finally, velvety, mildly spicy green leaves join the florals and earthy notes, and that's where the fragrance sits for the remainder of the wear.

Overall, it's unusual but surprisingly wearable. The initial potting soil stage is somewhat strong, but once that fades it sits fairly close to the skin.

Chaotic Mud and Gentle Flowers
The smell instantly hits you with an image of sopping wet soil - mud. It's dark, and a little smokey. If I were a flower, this would be the kind of dirt I'd love to sink some roots into. On my skin, it smelled a bit sweeter than the bottle, and the opening mud note quickly settles down after 10-20 minutes and leaves behind a fresh white floral. Not very intense, and quite close to the skin.

After an hour or two the patchouli base begins to rise to the forefront. The fragrance is now completely floral with a hint of earth. The sunshine after the figurative storm. This perfume tells a story of destruction and regrowth in a lovely way. Very wearable for the office as the sillage is pretty intimate.

I've never had a single note ruin a fragrance the way mushroom does to this. On my skin it makes the whole thing smell like old food.

After a fresh and dewy, aquatic citric-floral opening, this musty earthy-spicy Mid Season fragrance, settles on a smooth earthy-woody base.
