I ordered the Tarteel Silver blindly after comparing it with the Salam and "Althaïr | Parfums de Marly," because I was convinced that I would like it. And it was a hit! By now, this fragrance has become one of my absolute favorites from my collection and is my new discovery for the colder days.
The packaging itself is already a true highlight! The large, heavy box is a real eye-catcher and fits perfectly with the bottle. Now, let's talk about the scent: It starts with a lovely sweetness where I mainly perceive the peach. Relatively quickly, the floral notes also come in gradually, making the fragrance very pleasant and wearable. The note that runs through the entire scent is vanilla. Combined with amber, the fragrance remains sweet and oriental but definitely not too heavy. This warm depth is further emphasized by the woody notes. The fragrance perfectly unites sweetness with a certain depth that simply smells luxurious to me.
It’s also not surprising to me that Tarteel Silver was awarded Fragrance of the Year by the Fragrance Foundation Arabia in 2017. This is how liquid gold must smell! The fragrance is a true highlight in my collection and will certainly be my indispensable companion for the cooler months.
