Bizarre and amazing.

I definitely need a little more time to understand this one. Its very realistic, at the point that it seems that I'm here milking the goats. This is amazing. The opening seemed a little bizarre to me, but maybe it was only che coriander. It sets down very nicely immediately after that, becoming the most realistic milk I've tried. I like when milk smells like itself and not some pastry-type of condensed milk. The more I sniff it, the more I like it. I can easily picture some medieval core barn here. It smells like a milk scent from the past (and this is super good to me, don't get me wrong). There's no hay, but I can picture it all: hands on mammals of goats. Hay. Warm milk. It stays close to the skin. Sweet but not overly sweet, or at least not in a gourmand way. My first Arcana Wildcraft and it didn't disappoint.

Gorgeous And Deep

I love a good lactonic scent, and this one does not disappoint. After trying it I can totally understand the hype. The description is “ Sweet milk from the convent's flock of goats with touches of sacred frankincense, hinoki wood essence, coriander seed and soft linen.”nnThe first notes are goat’s milk and frankincense. It stays true to these notes throughout the drydown and for hours after. The Hinoki wood is there, lurking in the background and the coriander is really unnoticeable. I’m not getting any linen from this scent. The main feature here is the incensey goat milk.nnThere’s something holy about it, but Goth/witchy as well. The incense is definitely there, but not overwhelming. The goats are definitely in control.nnI bought the oil version. Arcana quit making the EdP version due to separation of the oils in the spray bottles. The oil wears closer to the skin, although the initial projection is good. It becomes More intimate over the hours. I got a good 4-5 hours of wear before I needed to reapply.
