I am amazed

It smells exactly 1 to 1 like Interlude Man

Interlude Man was my very first niche fragrance. Accordingly, the perfume means a lot to me. I still have my bottle from 2019. I love wearing it, but since I don't want to finish it too quickly, I only wear it on special occasions.

Even though I prefer sweet scents, I particularly identify with Interlude Man … for a long time I wanted to wear it as my “signature scent” … but the considerable price unfortunately puts a damper on that ^^

And here comes "Midnight Oud (Eau de Parfum) | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" into play!

I am truly amazed by the dupe quality! I - as a lover of Interlude Man - can hardly see a difference between the two. At least in terms of scent. They really smell 95-98% identical.

The longevity is good. Really very good! But not as BRUTALLY good as Interlude Man. For the price, however, it's acceptable.

Only in terms of sillage do you make some minor compromises here and there. Interlude Man is very room-filling, which unfortunately cannot be said about "Midnight Oud (Eau de Parfum) | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية". It lasts long… but for the most part, it stays rather close to the body… yet it is still clearly recognizable… I don't know how to describe it… but it is more of a perceived problem. For this price, it really performs very well, so I don't want to be too harsh on it.

You can easily counteract this by overspraying it, which you can do without hesitation at this price (18€), and then the issue with the sillage is already resolved.

Don't get me wrong. The sillage is only slightly weaker in direct comparison to the original. However, it is definitely stronger than the average designer fragrance.

So… overall I am satisfied… yes, even VERY satisfied. Definitely one of the best perfume purchases, as I have simply come to love Interlude Man ^^

I used it for the first time today and I'm just as thrilled as you are. The smoke in the first few hours is almost identical. However, I think the Interlude has a lovely transformation in the drydown and gets sweeter over time. This one doesn't quite do that as well. And sure, there are some compromises in longevity and sillage, but at this price, it's totally irrelevant. If you're into the scent DNA, go for it without hesitation!

That's right. Interlude might smell a bit more natural and harmonious to the experienced nose, but the differences are marginal - definitely not worth a €200 difference. 🏆
