The Legend of Zelda Collection - Tarrey Town Area of Effect Perfumery 2023

As someone who's not typically a gourmand lover, this nevertheless managed to wow me. I get a lot of dark, rich, buttery caramel. I can definitely get a hint of salt and pretzel, and I can also detect the cool autumn air accord. The harvest spice note concerned me slightly as I'm sensitive to cinnamon, but this doesn't come across as the typical holiday spice or pumpkin spice at all. I also don't always like dry leaf notes, but here it just adds complexity and fall vibes. Just a dark, deep caramel mostly. I think the patchouli from this house is adding to that impression of darkness and depth. AOE has a really nice patchouli note that I think will be tolerable even to some patchouli haters.

Longevity isn't great, as with many scents I've tried from this house, but the wet phase of this one is my favorite part so I don't mind reapplying every few hours. Pricing is excellent and I really appreciate that small sizes such as 3ml are offered. An underrated house.
