The similarity to Mancera Red Tobacco is unmistakable. Especially in the opening, I find the Red Tobacco even softer, lighter, and yes, better. The Triumph of Bacchus comes with rum and peach, which really works well together, but in my opinion, it also starts with a damp tobacco that almost seems musty, and I thought to myself, "What have I bought?"
However, after about 1-2 hours, it developed in a completely different direction and suddenly becomes very gentle and warm with vanilla and musk, which is exactly to my taste.
The longevity is strongly above average; I would say it easily lasts 10 hours on me.
I don't even need to start on the bottle; it's one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
