i enjoy this thoroughly, especially at its price point. off rip you get a very strong lemon. it’s not juicy or realistic, almost leans into a cleaning product realm but not quite. noticeable ginger present as well. there’s a dry powdery note throughout the entire wear of this fragrance. i haven’t seen this listed in the official notes or accords, but it’s something to be noted nonetheless. it may be the specific type of woods or vetiver showing through.
as this dries the lemony citrus fades, the woods and masculine musk remains. i have worn this countless times and enjoy the way it dries on clothes. it’s distinctly male in the wood notes but in an inoffensive way to me. i prefer unisex fragrances but this is approachable for an androgynous experience too. your sense of smell is connected to your lived experience, so make your own connections.
i haven’t smelled the original fragrance people claim this is a dupe of, so i have no comment in that regard.
all in all, a solid citrus>powder>wood fresh scent that would go well fresh out of a shower or while working out. can’t beat under $40 fragrances.
scent 8/10, longevity for about 8 hours or a day on clothes, sillage past arms length within the first 2 hours of wear. i recommend!
