Level only looks like arrogance from below

Although the bottle is matte black, I see the color green milliseconds after spraying it. A rather dark green that transports you right into a forest full of ferns, oak moss, coniferous trees, and much more.

The addition of lavender, artemisia, nutmeg flower, and sage brings "Arrogance Uomo" appealing fresh-spicy vibes, including a slightly bitter twist.
In the base notes, classic notes like patchouli, oak moss, as well as minimal leather and a bit of vetiver come through. It also has decent longevity along with projection.

All in all, it is obvious that we are dealing with a fragrance from the 80s and that "Arrogance Uomo" was truly created for men who know what they want. I imagine the wearer as a gruff commissioner or a daring inspector from those rough crime stories, who sometimes break conventions and laws to solve or avenge a case.

However, I can well imagine that "Arrogance Uomo" shone more intensely back then than it is allowed to today. My version seems almost a bit too mild for an 80s fragrance, yet it remains unusual and appealing, as well as slightly out of time without appearing old-fashioned. This arrogance definitely has class.

The old bottle always reminded me of "Trussardi Uomo."

I had to think about that too, although my bottle is more in the shape of a travel spray...

I really enjoyed reading this. The name "Arrogance Uomo" always held me back from testing it. On the other hand, there’s also a certain appeal to the name... I guess I’ll have to try it someday. :-)

I missed out on the scent, but your description sounds really good and appealing to me. The arrogant gentleman, who is definitely charming at heart, would probably appeal to me as well. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! 👍

Sure thing! I came across this by chance through a swap; otherwise, it would have totally slipped past me too ;-)

Oh, I had that one until recently and I loved wearing it. It's rare for a bottle to run out so quickly.

I believe so. Mine is the smaller travel version and has already been well used.

Sounds almost like a "Bad Boy scent"! But I definitely agree with the level you associate with this perfume! It's definitely worth a try! Great!

I think in the 70s or 80s it would have been more of a bad boy scent, but now it's relatively tame. Thanks! :-)

I'm currently thinking of Arne Stiller from Elias Haller, the cryptologist. But apparently, he wears Le Male. ;)

I really enjoy reading that. Also Erik Donner, Klara Frost (apparently wears something by Clive Christian).

I don't know it at all, but I think of all those French and Italian cop movies from back then... ;-)

Yes, those were the days when fragrances and detectives could still convey something that really touched you!

The commissioner used to be a bit rougher, but it's really great cinema for little money (in Italy).

Yes, especially the Italians and French could do that ;-)
