The image:
After the first spray, I find myself by a campfire in the desert. It is night, the full moon is partially covered by clouds, and in the distance, I hear faint wolf howls.
I am sitting on a wool rug right in front of the fire, watching the flying ash and smoke. In my hand, I hold a cup of warm Mahallabi (a milk drink with vanilla and cardamom), which provides me with warmth.
The scent:
The fragrance starts with a strong, spicy note that mainly consists of cardamom. It is accompanied by a hint of vanilla.
Over time, the vanilla becomes more prominent and gains depth through a medicinal note (from Peru balsam).
The spiciness of the scent gradually weakens, and the fragrance becomes increasingly calm and balsamic.
Performance:
The scent is still noticeable after 9 hours. The sillage is strong for about an hour, after which the fragrance becomes close to the skin, which I find completely acceptable for an extrait.
Conclusion:
I am absolutely satisfied with this fragrance. It has awakened my imagination and provided me with a pleasant scent with good longevity.
However, it is not a candidate for a blind buy, as the medicinal note may not appeal to everyone.
