Scent: It deviates a bit from the original; here the rose and the whisky are in the foreground. I can't pick out the tonka bean, but the creaminess inside must be it, and the green tea is also present, even though it should be absent. The scent really kicks in after 10 minutes; until then, you might think, oh no, not another disappointment. Give it time; it develops over time but remains straightforward. With over-application, you can taste a slightly bitter, peppery note in your mouth; that's the delicious whisky that you perceive more and more over time, and you can taste its individual ingredients. For me, this perfume embodies what I understand as a quiet, elegant English gentleman. Conclusion: For me, I am more of the quiet type; it's one of my favorites, and I use it whenever I want, it always fits, I think. Definitely a recommendation for guys over 40.
