I really wanted this scent after trying it at a friend's place. I ordered it through eBay in Portugal. It's the 1985 version, and it cost 100 euros. That's a lot of money for me too. Just had to have it!
...I agree. It was available back then in the discount store (which became Woolworth), and for a young man, it was an affordable perfume that... had class. A truly unique scent. I just ordered the so-called "Classic" from 2000, and it's a huge disappointment. It smells like any generic citrus-aquatic. Such a shame that the original ROCKFORD (like so many great perfumes from the 80s) is no longer available.
