Sometimes it just takes the right person to open a new door. In my case, that person was @Turbobean - a user with heart and humor. I owe him the experience of trying my very first Arabic fragrance, "Marshoud 4 (White) (Eau de Toilette) | Atyab Al Marshoud / أطياب المرشود" - and thus taking my first step into the niche.

And this step did not lead me into a glaring spectacle, but into a quiet poetry. Marshoud Oud possesses a DNA that is not easily comparable: The mint is noticeable, yet not in the sporty-cool manner of Torino21 by Xerjoff, but like a gentle breath that lifts the curtain to a warmer scene. Saffron and cardamom paint small, spicy ornaments, while a soft oud pulses discreetly in the background - never loud, but like a quiet heartbeat. I also sense a cloud of white musk that envelops everything in silky softness.

Before my inner eye, the image of an Arab beauty appears, wrapped in white silk, as if from an old tale: graceful, mysterious, not intrusive, but with that quiet presence that speaks more than a thousand words.

Both longevity and sillage remain rather subtle, making the creation a quiet companion that stays close to me.

Marshoud Oud is not a fragrance that loudly draws attention to itself, but one that captivates through elegance and individuality. A gentle, white-clad key to the world of niche - and I am grateful that Turbobean sent me on this path with so much charm and persuasion.
