Holy violet?? Now they're imitating Robin...! :D

Okay, with my title maybe only those who still know the Batman series from the 60s with Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin can get something out of it. Because Robin was a character in this series, who had delivered a saying with "Holy/Holy/Holy..." as an expression of his astonishment or horror in really every episode and thus always provided for a funny comedy.

They were not well-known sayings like "holy cannon pipe or holy straw sack" (but these also happened), but each one adapted to a certain scene. There were absurd sayings like "Holy Macaroni", "Holy Rocking Chair", "Holy Popcorn", "Holy Shop Window" or even... now it's... "Holy Bikini!". As a child I never noticed it like that, but when you're a little older you realize that this series was more self-ironic and even voluntarily funny than a serious Batman series.

Hm... is nevertheless again and again amazing, which reasons I can find nevertheless again and again to talk about the Flattermann, although I saw here only the smell name. Holy violet... but how do you come up with such a name? At least in ancient times, violets were consecrated to some gods of the Romans and Greeks, so that celebrants wore wreaths of violets on their heads, and the plant was considered the flower of love. Hm... maybe I should have told that first, before I bored everybody with Batman again *sigh*

**The fragrance:**
The fragrance begins with the violets, which not only smell sweet and sweet with beautiful flowers, but also powdery (not as powdery as iris or vanilla, of course, but still there is a nice soft note). At the beginning a bergamot can only be smelled for a short time, which seems to appear and then disappears again. Otherwise I smell beside the violets also further flower smells, which smell nice and loosely. And in the background I smell green scents for a short while.
From the scents of the heart note I only notice the orange blossoms and the sweetness of the jasmine slightly, but in my opinion one can hardly distinguish the sweetness between jasmine and violet because it simply smells nice after sweet blossoms/flowers in general. Then the roses begin to smell and seem to become more and more intense over time, only to weaken again in the base.
Yes, so I can still smell violets in the base or just later, because the scent still seems to me like slightly powdery smelling flowers that smell sweet. As already mentioned, the rose gradually disappears into the background again, but now woody notes come into play, which, as so often, form the basis of the base. By the way, cedar wood smells better here than sandalwood. I do not smell vetiver at all, but beautiful musk, which fits nicely to the violets.

**The Sillage and the shelf life:**
The Sillage is quite okay, you can smell the scent for a while on a few meters on a person.
I liked the shelf life, which means you can easily smell the scent for eight hours, maybe more.

**The bottle:**
The slightly inflated bottle is rectangular, glossy white and looks very high quality. On the front you can see the name and the logo in golden colour. Also gold-plated is the round neck, on which the rectangular lid made of light-coloured wood sits. It's a nice bottle.

Oh, yeah, I really liked that scent. He has great floral notes, which even for me (who usually always finds floral scents very stuffy) absolutely great smell. The powdery notes make the fragrance soft, the sweet scents are pleasant to the nose and despite the sweet and powdery notes, the fragrance is not particularly heavy, so it can also be worn in summer.

Due to the good Sillage and the great smell it is not only suitable as a daily smell, but is also wonderfully suitable for going out and celebrating. So it's worth taking a look, even if you might find similar scents in other scents that are easier to get to or more likely to be found on a shelf somewhere in a store.

Well,... holy violets... I really should order this old Batman series completely on DVD or something, now I would have great desire on it... especially, after I got myself recently a small model of the cult Batmobils of the 60's, yay looks cool... really!..... but as always, you can't understand my enthusiasm for it... oh, you have no idea! ... *sigh* :DD
