The Avon fragrances have accompanied me since my youth - and my first own scent was Moonwind - in a charming poodle bottle.
And so I like to browse eBay for old Avon treasures from time to time.
While searching, I came across Foxfire, which I don't remember, but it was offered as a roll-on oil.
Since my beloved musk oils have become unaffordable, I was glad to find an oil at an acceptable price.
And the name Foxfire sounds promising as well.
Somehow a bit cheeky and extravagant at the same time.
Besides, foxes are beautiful animals anyway.
And today the fox arrived "packaged" on silent paws.
In this elegant fox-like manner, it also circles around the nose.
It reaches me quietly - but then increasingly insistently - without being intrusive.
A proud velvety rose extends its hand to a soft, non-biting hyacinth and leads me onto lush grass into the forest - to the fox den.
One could also wear the scent on a red gala carpet, as its noble statement allows for that.
But a quiet, secluded forest path also comes to my mind.
A special fragrance - for special moments.
In a way, it is quirky - but charming - without being abrasive.
The mysterious fire of the clever fox eyes shines at me.
An exquisite scent - that attracts attention - and also deserves it.
P.S. I read the correct translation on Leo - but I can relate more to my personal translation.
Nice comment. Avon fragrances are often looked down upon (why is that, anyway?) I've never understood it. In my fragrance cabinet, I have both expensive and 'cheap' scents. I just let my silly nose decide :-))) My Avon collection (but only the old ones) is quite impressive. The new ones, like all other mainstream brands, contain that disgusting chemical stuff. I haven't been able to figure out what it is yet.
How lovely! And I still remember my only Avon fragrance from when I was a teenager - Storytime Frog Moonwind with a frog as the cap :-) . I thought the scent and the bottle were amazing back then... I would love to smell it again today...
