Already Spring Again?
Unfortunately not yet! But in small bottles, it is fully present! Also at AVON, which used to create very beautiful and distinctive fragrances. Distinctive and beautiful is also "Foxfire," the name somewhat misleads about the content. Instead of a very strong and cinnamon-spiced scent for autumn and winter, which truly "glows," "Fuchsfeuer" is its translation into German. Doesn’t it immediately remind one of "Indian Summer," the time of the glowing maple leaves in early autumn?
Well, early autumn is not what’s inside here, rather a powerful awakening of spring. The hyacinth as a harbinger, the roses and jasmine in full bloom. Mid-April, early to mid-May, when the rhododendrons also make their grand appearance. Surely there’s a variety in "fox red" that bears such a name?!?
Now it’s also quite lush here: Galbanum sets the tone. And moss in the "aftertaste," which grows in damp places on the forest floor and on tree trunks. This is also an indication of spring, when after April showers the warm afternoon sun shines, while the nights and mornings are cool, lifting woody, mossy scents into the air with the mist?
Quite possible!
It can be worn gladly in seasons when spring is not yet here or has already passed. Perhaps even for "Indian Summer," but definitely when spring is truly here.
A beautiful, powerful floral-green CHYPRE!!

Fox, you have stolen my heart
The Avon fragrances have accompanied me since my youth - and my first own scent was Moonwind - in a charming poodle bottle.

And so I like to browse eBay for old Avon treasures from time to time.

While searching, I came across Foxfire, which I don't remember, but it was offered as a roll-on oil.

Since my beloved musk oils have become unaffordable, I was glad to find an oil at an acceptable price.
And the name Foxfire sounds promising as well.
Somehow a bit cheeky and extravagant at the same time.

Besides, foxes are beautiful animals anyway.

And today the fox arrived "packaged" on silent paws.

In this elegant fox-like manner, it also circles around the nose.
It reaches me quietly - but then increasingly insistently - without being intrusive.
A proud velvety rose extends its hand to a soft, non-biting hyacinth and leads me onto lush grass into the forest - to the fox den.

One could also wear the scent on a red gala carpet, as its noble statement allows for that.

But a quiet, secluded forest path also comes to my mind.

A special fragrance - for special moments.

In a way, it is quirky - but charming - without being abrasive.

The mysterious fire of the clever fox eyes shines at me.

An exquisite scent - that attracts attention - and also deserves it.

P.S. I read the correct translation on Leo - but I can relate more to my personal translation.

Green, flower-lined paths lead into a nature-inspired landscape park. Tall, ancient trees next to "elegant," scattered flower beds!

"Bioluminescence of certain fungi" = Foxfire. I can't find it here. But bright green, forest flowers, charm, and many bittersweet memories.
