Missing Valaya's magic
Bought Mystique Bouquet out of curiosity after reading comments saying it’s a great Valaya dupe and worth buying cheapy . It is similar in general, but definitely not a dupe. It's more like an air freshener version, missing the sophistication, depth and elegance Valaya has. Pleasant enough, but not on the same level.

Ok but...
Initially pretty, sparkling, fruity fresh scent that's suitable for an everyday mood boost as well as a fun night out.

Valaya in comparison is stronger but more lighthearted and playful simultaneously. A bit more feminine too. V wraps you in a soft cloud of heavenly perfume and has a magical component that Mystique Bouquet doesn't have, but for 200 or so less we can't really complain. Smells similar enough. However this perfume changed after a few months and became off smelling, chemical, basically non usable. So did I actually save money?

Will be Decluttering
This is an ambroxan bomb! I purchased this during my blind buying phase and my almost nonexistent dent in the bottle reflects that. I listened to some fragrance influencers go on about how ethereal, fresh and bridal this scent is. I’m so glad folks have had this experience with MB, but I surely did not.

I haven’t gotten my nose on Valya, the original made my the illustrious Parfums de Marley, nor am I curious in trying the OG after experiencing this dupe.

On my skin, Mystique Bouquet smells like a poorly blended mix of citrus cleaning products and unpleasant ambroxan. I’m learning the latter is not one of my favorite notes on the whole, despite deeply enjoying ozonic notes.

I wouldn’t wear this around anyone with scent sensitivities, and it’s a hard no for medical and/or professional settings. It’s too loud and too poorly blended.

I’ve asked several loved ones of their take on MB on both paper and my skin. It always receives poor feedback from each person. I plan to declutter this.

If the notes speak to you, I say try to find a decant or sample if you can. Please don’t do what I did and just buy it because you trust other people’s responses to it. Just sample.

Peach Crumble Tea
Scent:
"Mystique Bouquet" starts with a light citrus note. The sweet peach-lychee combination quickly takes over and fuses into a very sweet peach-lychee iced tea. Fruity and delicious, but definitely synthetic. I perceive the floral notes only subtly and in the background. Over time, the initially juicy composition settles into a more fruity-powdery manner. Peach iced tea becomes crumble tea powder. Not much more happens on my skin, which is why I would classify the scent progression as quite linear. A fruity-sweet, indeed clear, but also slightly sticky peach scent that I have definitely not smelled before. The longevity on my skin was about 5-6 hours. If you apply it normally, you will be noticed by those nearby. The fruity notes are quite present, perhaps even intrusive. This rather sweet scent will certainly be perceived differently by the environment.

When? Where? Who?
Fans of peach scents and fruity compositions in general might find this appealing. "Mystique Bouquet" is special, has recognition value, and also quite good longevity and sillage for a low price. In my opinion, it has signature potential! I like it in spring, but the fruity notes also shine well in warmer temperatures. This creation is definitely not a refresher, but it evokes summer associations for me. Maybe because I always love eating peaches in the summer?
For me, it is a feminine scent that I see more on younger women. When I think of my mother, mother-in-law, or aunt, I don’t believe they would wear "Mystique Bouquet." One would find it not fresh enough, the other too squeaky sweet, or simply lacking a few edges and corners in the form of herbal-spicy components.

#Mysterious Bouquet vs #La Fleur Bouquet
Unfortunately, I cannot compare "Mystique Bouquet" and "Valaya," as I have never smelled "Valaya." However, there is a comparison to "La Fleur Bouquet," as I found it difficult to decide between the two scents when purchasing..

Mystique Bouquet:
Scent: Peach crumble tea with few flowers
S: 1m-2m, if you spray yourself completely
HB: on my skin about 5 hours
Effect: Niche character. More youthful. With a lot of fruit through spring & summer. You have to like it! Test it first! Sometimes too sweet, no bitter scent notes. Recognition value. Signature potential.
My scent skeptic’s opinion: "Ugh. Too sweet."

La Fleur Bouquet:
Scent: Delicate, floral, slightly grassy, little peach
S: rather close to the skin, even if you spray yourself completely
HB: on my skin about 4 hours
Effect: Designer character. Adult, elegant floral scent. Spring feelings. Everyday suitable. Pleasant! Perhaps a bit boring. Little recognition value. Still "pretty."
My scent skeptic’s opinion: "Pretty good."

Comparison conclusion:
The scents develop, in my perception, in quite different directions. "Mystique Bouquet" is primarily a fruity-sweet scent that is rather unique. In contrast, "La Fleur Bouquet" predominantly showcases the floral notes and is very pleasing, but brings little recognition value. When it comes to blind purchases and gift recommendations, as the packaging and low price invite, I would say that "La Fleur Bouquet" is the safer choice. For "Mystique Bouquet," however, I would recommend testing it beforehand.

Conclusion: Anyone looking for a special, fruity scent for their collection can take a closer look at "Mystique Bouquet." Sweet, synthetic peach crumble tea. Somehow delicious and still somewhat perfumey. For me, a better representation of peach than the fermented variant in Tom Ford's "Bitter Peach."

Aquatic-Sweet Everyday Fragrance
For me, the scent has an aquatic aura that is simultaneously sweet-floral and enveloping.
It has directly become my signature scent.
Mystique Bouquet combines the fragrance directions of floral, fruity, sweet, and aquatic, merging all components into a picture of femininity.
Moreover, it is very pleasing, light, and long-lasting.
I can never get enough of this scent because it can never be too much.

With this unbeatable price and the beautiful bottle, it is a must-have for me.

Unfortunately, it is not very easy to obtain.

Peach and blossoms are pleasantly light and aquatic at first, but after a while it becomes too sweet for me - especially the orange blossom.

Creamy peach shampoo, vanilla-scented and sweet-floral, enhanced with fresh-synthetic citrus scrub milk. I like it.

The attempt went wrong. I mainly smell - Ambroxan. Unfortunately, anything else lovely gets lost on me. Bottle/packaging is great!

Delightfully fresh, fruity, and a little bit floral. Peach, lychee, and peony = pure bliss
Sillage/Projection is good on me.
