The adult Good Girl
First of all, I have to say that I didn't know anything about Barbour fragrances until recently. But when I tested it for the first time in our perfumery a few days ago (a colleague had recommended it to me, even though I was rather skeptical about the bottle), I was totally shocked.
I've recently started wearing the Good Girl EdP myself, so if you need something safe and simple, I think it's the perfect choice. When I tested the aforementioned Barbour on a strip, I first thought I had made a mistake because the head is almost identical to that of the Good Girl. As I said, I was expecting more of a chypre fragrance with the bottle and I say... something rather old-fashioned.
I immediately sprayed it on to make a comparison. And overall, I just find the fragrance lighter than the Good Girl, as this vanilla sweetness, which for me makes up the youthful character of the fragrance, is not so strongly represented in the Barbour. This is like the calmer and more mature mother of the Good Girl, which still retains its youth, but still convinces with steadfastness and freshness.
Unfortunately, I didn't notice the fragrance for very long, after about 2-3 hours it could only be smelled close to the skin, but maybe that's more due to my now fragrance-damaged nose :)
