Honeyed blossoms
Usually, Spyros' creations are highly unconventional. Hard to grasp, unpredictable and somehow still quite wearable. This one is a bit different from those little mind games. This is quite conventional, predictable and of course still quite wearable.
In the opening I get a combined taste of pollen, powder and sweetness. This evokes a soft and elegant ambience. Spring blossom all the way. The pollen disappear at some point, after which the sweetness comes even more forward. It is a soft, tender sweetness that combines honey, vanilla and fluffy white florals. In the base there is a semi-fresh musk and a slight greenish resin - I suspect it is mastic.
Baruti does not have many floral compositions. This one and Voyance Extrait de Parfum are the only ones that I know of. I would not mind if a few more come out. In any case, this was a successful attempt.
