The god of war

Marte (Italian word for "Mars" ) is the name of the greek-roman god of War and the choice of this mythological name for a masculin scent isn't random to me.
Let's look at the bottle: it takes the effigy of the divine warrior's profile, with his helmet and a very serious expression on his face. It's a clear message : this one is a very masculin scent! There's no place for feminin shades or romantic touches. Only for the braves! But is really so?
Let's spray the scent, less concentrate in this edt version , but anyway quite strong and longlasting:
first of all, you smell a very particular aromatic accord dominated by the basil, Rosemary and artemisia notes, then...what a surprise! A Jasmine heart associated to carnation notes with a spicy touch. so, there's a flowery and gentle heart in this so masculin scent! Finally, a base of Woods and the green vibrant touch of the vetiver.
A good balance classic scent revealing an unusal and unsuspected "feminin" gentle soul.
Anyway, a typical masculin fragrance (I tested it on my feminin skin but it's " too much")to wear by day mainly in the middle season, maybe at the office too if you don't exaggerate while you're spraying it. For the evening -night and in winter I prefer recommend the concentrated version, with a stronger sillage and a more longlasting result.
