I can't shake the feeling that the scent is only telling me half the story. I'll dig out the sample, which I really appreciate, and give it another try when the weather is warmer.
Certainly a test value, but by no means the artistic maturity of the brand anymore.

I'm feeling the same way right now. Sometimes annoyances sadly overshadow what really matters. The name of this perfume fits perfectly with that. Maybe it's not meant to be just a scent, but rather a symbol.
Somehow, I can't quite relate to the pyramid here: Green notes like galbanum, violet leaf, or vetiver just don't come through for me, nor does leather. I mainly perceive a lot of powdery musk with dry cedar and sweet citrus notes with Hedione highlights.
Let us know if anything changes in warmer weather!
