A Kind of "Strange Dreamland"
Yes, this fragrance presents me with quite a few little puzzles. What could it possibly be? And where is this "What" supposed to take place? Most likely, it transports me to a somehow time-delayed spring landscape, where daffodils bloom, violets "struggle" through ivy on the ground, and its long tendrils climb up thick beech and birch trunks. To my surprise, I can observe that everything growing close to the ground still lingers in the cool spring; while the trees are already densely and lushly green with summer foliage. And everything is bathed in a hint of transparent chlorophyll. The light that falls through the crowns feels somehow "waxy," as if sunbeams were filtering through a thin veil of gauze.
So lightly "unreal," the whole thing. Like a painting come to life, inspired by a dream. A landscape that could hardly exist in reality. Nevertheless - and precisely for this reason - it exerts a certain fascination. Transparent intermediate worlds that linger partly in the past and partly allow a glimpse into the future... strange? But that's how my nose perceives the fragrance! ;-))
