Rose in a Whole New Way

Celestial Rose is the last of the Béjar fragrances that I acquired as a sample and tested thoroughly. I saved this scent for last - partly because roses are really my thing and partly because I always keep the most beautiful and best for the end.
In contrast to the iris, which Ramón Béjar has truly mastered and executed excellently, I am not really happy with the rose. This rose scent strongly reminds me of the Adolfo Dominguez rose fragrances Agua Fresca de Rosas and Agua Fresca de Rosas Blancas. The similarity with the latter is even quite striking.
In this respect, while this rose is beautifully rendered, with its fruity, Davana-accented opening and the subsequently fruity and floral notes that contain a lot of greenery. Sweetness is hardly present here, and the flowers are certainly not fully opened yet. Roses also smell different when they are kissed by the sun or when they open their blooms on a misty or rainy day.
Celestial Rose reflects more of the latter, a green garden on a hazy summer morning. The flowers have not yet fully unfolded, but the peaches, which will only reach their full ripeness in a few days, scent the garden. The scent of the flowers cannot quite keep up at this point and holds back during the first hour. Only then do the flowers come into play and begin to give the garden a fragrant turn towards bright, very delicate, and sweetly scented rose blossoms.
Thus, the scent remains as it is; a presence of musk or amber is not perceivable to me.
Since there is no other perfume category with such a vast selection as rose fragrances, I would rather forgo this rose considering the high purchase price. Especially because I already own Agua Fresca de Rosas Blancas, which is significantly cheaper.
