Strangely addictive

Do I like this? Do I not? I can’t tell.

There's resin and somehow smokey incense even though it isn’t in the notes, then lily and musk. It's rich and dark and sensuous and slightly unsettling.

Projection is strong, and it maintains its unique scent throughout the dry down.

Not a safe blind buy, nor would I recommend wearing this to the office.

I keep going back to smell it but also am not sure that I want to smell like this? One thing is for sure: it's incredibly unique.

Tuberose with Kirke-Musk

Black Datura by Miller Harris could pass for Orchid Soleil NOIR by Tom Ford :)
The scent is velvety and dark - a melody in a bass key, played by a cello.

Update from 05.10.2022
Unfortunately, my perception has changed a bit... After wearing Kirke by Tiziana Terenzi in the summer, I now smell the same amber-woody notes in Black Datura that many refer to as musk. If you don't like these components either, you should not try this fragrance.

Tuberose and Spices

This is a fragrance of medium to deeper tones that had to stay put during the summer - I didn't even think of it. But now that it has become cool again, I have started using it again.

A cheerful, loud, and almost minty-fresh tuberose unfolds. Some velvety dark chocolate blends into the spicy-warm red/brown/green overall picture. I can't detect a great development. The scent lasts long and remains unmistakable even in the final phase, where many perfumes become quite generic. The bottle is black, gold, heavy, soft touch, and sprays well.

Last winter, I enjoyed wearing it often while working from home, but never when I physically went to the office. My colleagues are not used to unusual scents. It's not really a blind buy candidate, although - it worked for me. I'm a Miller Harris fan anyway. :-)
