Just imagine: Tuesday afternoon. I've just come from school, just got off the bus. I think to myself: "Oh, I've got nothing to do and my Rossmann coupons are expiring, now that I'm in town I can treat myself to something, since I did so well in the last exams (except for Spanish, where I failed completely)". So I went for a walk to my "local" shopping center. Of course, it was emptier than usual. Who goes shopping on a Tuesday afternoon at the end of January? I'm already at the well-known R and M and choose the items I want. A heavenly-smelling orange soap, a little something here and there, whatever the app had on offer.

With basket in one hand and jacket in the other, I happily made my way to the perfume department, which was quite familiar to me by this point. I browsed through the different fragrances with interest, sniffing a few that were definitely out of my budget. After a while, an electric pink eau de toilette caught my eye. I read the brand on the bottle: "Bench." i read. "Don't they make clothes and tools?" I asked myself "No wait, Bosch makes tools, oops" was my second thought about the brand that stood temptingly in front of me. Out of interest I sprayed it on the back of my hand, my previous perfume had evaporated anyway. As the alcohol dried, I noticed something...something sweet...something fruity.

"Sugar. Fruity sugar" was my first thought, then "Cotton candy at the fair. With cherry flavor" my brain automatically associated. So much so, I could imagine an exact scene. Me at the funfair in my home town. It's already dark outside. It's cold, but not too cold. I've just bought a pink stick of cotton candy, and am enjoying it right next to the stand where the air mixes with the smell of the cotton candy machine. "Oh wait, I'm not at the fair, I'm at Rossmann, and I need to redeem my coupons." I thought to myself, and that's the fact: I'm in a Rossmann! Not a funfair!

The sugary-sour cherry (which were in a jar before!) and raspberry completely dominated my nose for the first time, with the plummy notes coming but also disappearing just as quickly. Delicate floral scents came afterwards, like the meadow where the funfair took place, small and almost unnoticeable. But only almost. Delicate and fragile is how I would describe it. Gourmande, together with the classic musk-amber combination, notes only came when the eau de toilette was unfortunately already fading, but were still worth enjoying. "Identity", which means "identity" in German, has the identity of late-night funfair, that's what it is.

While I'm on the subject of "evaporation", I'm sorry to say that the fragrance doesn't last very long. Of course, I have to expect that from an eau de toilette, but I was still a little disappointed.

TLDR (too long, didn't read= too long, I didn't read): Sugary-fruity top note is definitely the highlight, later delicate floral and even later light sweetness.
Doesn't last as long as I would like.

Ps: If you haven't got it yet, you can download the Rossmann app, there are almost always nice discounts!
