Yesterday I took another break at the Berdoues shelf - which has already become a dear habit of mine.
I would have long been "buying" if it weren't for the tempting selection of potential fragrances.
Berdoues makes it difficult for you.
My father used to say: If you can't decide, take both.
I like to act according to this motto - but he didn't say: If you can't decide, take all six!
I've already tested about that many Berdoues - and they all attracted me.
Today I reached for Moorea - and I had to linger there as well.
A fresh sweet naturalness, with a hint of green, captivated me.
This natural note has been a characteristic of all the Berdoues I've tested so far.
The manageable ingredients feel very authentic.
The green citrusy Petitgrain pairs perfectly with the juicy orange, and the sweet vanilla rounds off the fragrance harmoniously.
Previously, I was leaning towards the delicately marzipan-like Brazil - now I enjoyed the relaxed stroll through the botanical garden.
One walks carefree through Mother Nature - and indulges in tranquility.
My husband shifted impatiently from one foot to the other - but I will not let myself be deterred from testing the entire extremely appealing Berdoues range.
Oh, where could I test it (in Berlin, if anyone knows)? Sounds great, I'm curious now... And I have the same motto, but it gets tricky with 6 or more fragrances, especially if they aren't exactly cheap. And now, after a long break, I've already bought 2 expensive perfumes, one of which I hope will arrive by the weekend, the other probably not until early next week... *"The agony of choice"* trophy on display. ;)
