What works is copied, right?
I saw the fragrance in my local drugstore a few months ago and just gave it a try. I liked it straight away. Citrus notes with a hint of floral and a nice stable sandalwood base.
So I took it with me.
Worn several times and the performance and silage are really nice and pleasant.
I didn't think anything more of the fragrance and I don't actually write reviews.
But then came 2025, and with that year came the new and really popular Polo 67 on the market. I ordered it without checking the fragrance notes. And as soon as I smelled it, I thought to myself: "I know that one".
And then I compared the two directly and well, if you don't know, you probably can't actually smell the difference. Polo 67 probably has a little more pineapple and Trophy more bergamot, otherwise these fragrances are virtually identical.
And I actually think that's an absurdity. A good fragrance from an unknown brand which is in the local drugstore naturally only gets a 5.4 rating while its twin from polo bags a smooth 8.4. Brand makes more difference than it should.
As the Trophy pro mL is significantly cheaper, I can only recommend it as a Polo 67 alternative. It's not a dupe either, Trophy was around long before Polo 67.
