10Scent 10Longevity

"Make it broader, with tons of heavy shoulders...."

Anyone who knows the musical Victor/Victoria will recognize the quote from my title. When I sprayed the fragrance yesterday early evening, my first reaction was: WOW

This perfume is absolutely delicious, but also an absolute heavyweight! If you prefer olfactory subtlety, you should stop reading here!

Although I would never wear al02, I must say: this is one of the best women's perfumes I have had the pleasure of testing lately!

For my taste, everything is just right here!

The intensity and longevity are amazing, and those who love sillage will be fully satisfied. A half spray was enough to envelop me in this elegant-sinful scent.

The top note doesn't start too fresh, but rather delicately fruity. Peach and plum are skillfully softened by the citrus notes. The spices from the heart note are already shimmering through softly, announcing the oriental character of the perfume.

The heart note truly lives up to the film quote. Here, it's all about grand poses! In the musical, there is a song (The Jazz hot) that reflects the mood this perfume creates for me. The supposed drag artist (Julie Andrews) performs the first act with a lascivious jazz song. She plays with eroticism without drifting into cheapness, but also with a hint of irony! That's how I would describe the spicy floral character of the heart note! Multifaceted, mysterious, and layered, all with a wink!

The base then takes on the calming role. Spices, earthy, smoky, and balsamic notes blend skillfully with the sweet vanilla, finely rounding off the oriental scent.

In contrast to Victor/Victoria, the perfume maintains its feminine identity. Despite the abundance of fragrance components and the lush scent body, I experienced neither headaches nor a suffocating feeling. The label of perfume artwork truly applies here.

However, one thing I find a bit unfortunate (or maybe not). They could have given this artwork a fitting name. I personally find the type designation a bit too sober here!

Igraine, thank you for the enchanting erotic scent!

I loved that movie. Good to read about it here - it's been a while. And the scent is going on my wishlist. Thank you for the reminder!

I have a sample that has the wrong number on it (DLL 02), but it smells like what’s described here. I’ll send it to you, maybe you’ll recognize it or can identify it.

That probably wouldn't be for me. But I have to agree with you on the name. A scent like that doesn't deserve it.

How can such beautiful scents be released into the world with such mundane accounting names?

I love Victor/Victoria and the fantastic Julie Andrews. However, I doubt this little scent is for me. Too much BAMMMM! A perfect fit for you, just because of Victor/Victoria.
