Earthy boudoir scent
I really like boudoir/makeup-y scents, so I have tried lots of them. This is not screechy at all, despite having aldehydes in it as a top note. In fact, I find they give it a sparkly opening note, insetad of giving me a headache! The white musk also is subdued here, as it doesn't tingle my nose. We're left with an iris-forward scent, less fruity than 1889 - Moulin Rouge even though I do like that scent too. I fiend it more natural-smelling than Lipstick Rose and earthier than Eau Rose Eau de Parfum, even if they are quite similar. All in all, I like this scent and I don't think I need to look any further.
As a side-note, I find the bottle and the packaging lovely as a vintage lover.
