Sprayable lipstick

Goldilock make-up fragrance for me. It's powdery, of course, but not cloying.
It's not too sweet - I love the way the iris is treated here, buttery and rooty - but still very feminine and instantly elegant.
Lovely fragrance with a vintage feel,.but very wearable, not edgy at all, not too diva - nothing like a true vintage.
Soft and comfortable, close to the skin (I'm a light sprayer) but it surrounds you for hours.
At 160€/75ml this is not cheap but the bottle is truly lovely.
If you don't care about that, there's the option to buy a 100ml aluminium bottle for 120€ - and I think at that price, it's worth a buy.

La primera vez que olí Vermeil tuve que escribir al perfumista, Revillard, para agradecerle que hubiera creado esta fragrancia mágica.
A mí me trasporta a la fascinación que sobre mí ejercía el tocador de mi abuela paterna, una bellísima señora de elegancia atemporal.
El carmín, los polvos de arroz... pero no es un olor pasado de moda, es simplemente eterno y mágico. Hay algo en este aroma que mi hace recordar que mi abuela, al llegar a los 90 años, pidió como regalo de cumpleaños viajar una vez en globo.
Yo adoro este perfume. tuve que autoregalármelo inmediatamente, y aunque por la dimensión de mi colección lo utilizo menos de lo que debería, lo tengo por un verdadero tesoro (tanto el jabón como, particularmente, la crema de manos, comparten este aroma maravilloso) creo que el bodymilk será mi siguiente compra.

It smells of good and beautiful things

A blind buy that made my heart beat even before have it in my hands.
If you liked Tears of Iris.. here's we have a parfum standing a couple of steps above. I loved Tears of Iris, I do. Heaven made into a perfume, but it lasted a breath.
Vermeil is power, it exudes elegance and calm and sweetness. Splendidly retro notes, without smelling old.
You must like the makeup-y genre, even if the powdery effect in here does not yell. As for me, for example, I could not stand heavy powdery fragrances.
No predominance of violet / rose / iris. It is an extremely candid blend but at the same time with a lot of character. OK even for those who do not like aldehydes. It shapes a delicious light cloud around you and lasts a long time..
It smells of good and beautiful things.

Earthy boudoir scent

I really like boudoir/makeup-y scents, so I have tried lots of them. This is not screechy at all, despite having aldehydes in it as a top note. In fact, I find they give it a sparkly opening note, insetad of giving me a headache! The white musk also is subdued here, as it doesn't tingle my nose. We're left with an iris-forward scent, less fruity than 1889 - Moulin Rouge even though I do like that scent too. I fiend it more natural-smelling than Lipstick Rose and earthier than Eau Rose Eau de Parfum, even if they are quite similar. All in all, I like this scent and I don't think I need to look any further.

As a side-note, I find the bottle and the packaging lovely as a vintage lover.
