Beautifully projected
Les Fleurs de Nall is not a simple perfume, as there is quite a difference between the scent directly on the skin and the projection.
But this also adds to the charm of this perfume, as depending on the distance from the skin, different scent facets reveal themselves, especially in the top note.
Here, LFdN directly on the skin is somewhat scratchy and very green. I would almost say it tastes a bit bitter, yet from a distance, everything feels very harmonious to me. Green, yes, but more invigorating and somehow zesty.
Green remains in LFdN in the heart, but is now enriched by a beautiful and, as I find, slightly metallic floral accord. I can't pinpoint individual flowers, but I would attribute the metallic note to the iris.
I can't really recognize a significant change in the base, except that the scent feels a bit calmer to me.
The scent aura is not exactly understated, and I can imagine that LFdN could become quite unpleasant with an overdose. The longevity is excellent.
As for the green scent mood, LFdN reminds me of Dyptique's L´Ombre dans L´Eau, although I wouldn't compare the two scents.
LFdN will certainly not become a bestseller; the scent is too specific and perhaps a touch too vintage. Fans of unusual green perfumes might find a new candidate for purchase here.
