LUNAR - A Short Comment….

….because it was too long for a statement after all ;-)

I associate the moon (or its light) with a faint, milky glow, noble pallor, and cool-elegant restraint……perhaps even a bit of aloofness and distance…..

However, I certainly do not associate the moon with a colorful potpourri that has completely gone off the rails…..

LUNAR offers overripe fruit (just before fermentation), a fair amount of cinnamon-dusted clove, narcotic flowers, and a rather woody base that could perhaps be generously described as balsamic……

Above all, I perceive the scent as colossally “confused,” incredibly loud, and distinctly too much of everything….

I feel the same way, but if I write a bad review, I'll get in trouble again.

Thanks for the warning - fruity notes aren't my favorites. Sometimes less is more ;)

The pallor might come through because of the fermented fruit, perhaps?

The pyramid isn't really that fruity. The brand releases so many fragrances that they might just be running out of ideas.

That sounds more like a lunar eclipse. I've never really connected with the brand either!

The brand hasn't caught my attention yet either. Maybe that's for the best. They're not exactly cheap :)

Maybe it's a kind of moon obsession that's being expressed in all of this ;-)

It sounds intriguing, but also a bit wildly mixed together :-)

I associate the moon more with something silvery and subtle rather than a big statement. It feels more like the moon is setting than rising ;-)

Sounds really awful. :D I'm currently testing one that offers too little of everything, and I guess I'm doing pretty well compared to what I'm reading… ;)
