If this fragrance is anything, it is powerful!
It is not delicate; it starts off strong with a huge vanilla/honey aroma. My first thought was forest honey. Then there was something else. Something medicinal, herbal, but very faint in the background. Then this floral scent comes towards me. It feels like all the fresh flowers in the world have been thrown into a pot, with dried fruits on top. Everything is so incredibly complex and abundant that one is simply overwhelmed.
However, there is a great advantage to all of this. The scent seems to evolve into a different flower type almost every hour, somehow magical. I also perceive subtle, light wood notes as well as resins. This could be an Amouage fragrance. No. It is Boadicea. For me, it is simply too much, yet I like this scent. I see it as more on the feminine side. On a rich, aristocratic lady of the world. In the drydown, this fragrance becomes calmer and better. It lasts for hours until it eventually fades away. Definitely 24 hours.
Some may know Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford all too well. Passionate is its fragrance sister. It seems as if someone simply mixed in a lot of flower petals and forest resins and took out some tobacco. An opulent, powerful, and incredibly strong fragrance. I would have thought I could master it, but unfortunately, I cannot. For me, this scent is nothing. It has my utmost respect. Anyone who wants to be noticed should buy this fragrance. But I warn you. Whoever wears it will certainly come across as very intimidating to others, yet at the same time majestic and enchanting.
