Creamy Floral Scent

Do we have to expect an exaggerated floral or fruity abundance with the name Exotic? I sense something ominous.

Exotic starts off quite gourmand, with an alcoholic touch. A chocolatey and a kind of almond note compete with fruit schnapps! Clearly: Noble drops in nut! Delicious.

Fortunately, it doesn’t stop there. After a short while, a bright and yet mild and creamy smelling white flower makes its presence known. Is that the lily note? Or is the mysterious costus note playing a role here - a plant whose scent note I have yet to find anywhere.

Anyway, the character is floral, really velvety, creamy, and only slightly resinous. The latter may be due to a truly minimally perceptible incense.

The base note plays a secondary role in Exotic - as in many other women's perfumes. It enriches the fragrance with a dry, slightly darkened background. And a tiny bit of this earthy base still reminds one of chocolate.

I no longer find Exotic suitable for unisex. This is a floral, creamy women's fragrance with earthy undertones. Personally, I find the creaminess too broad. I think it suits female skin better.
